Changelog

v1.2.1 · 20 October 2026

Organisations admin fix

  • Home page on phones: the earlier example cards are more compact, so all four stay above the monkey's head.
  • Home page: Henkan Chat now uses its own icon in the AI assistants row.
  • Fixed the member list on the Organisations admin page, which stayed on loading.
  • Fixed creating a new study, which failed with a permission error since organisations arrived.
  • Home page: the Variant card now reads "In beta" instead of "H1 2027".
  • Research is now shown as "In beta" on its home page and in the pilot form, instead of "H1 2027".
  • The organisation menu on that page now labels the Henkan & Partners organisation "Henkan team" instead of repeating its name.
  • Everyone in an organisation now works on all its studies: preparing the guide, adding participants, running the synthesis, asking your interviews and sharing the report. Any member can also create a study. Deleting a whole study stays with owners, its creator and Henkan consultants.
  • Settings now lists the people in your organisation. Owners can add a Henkan & Partners consultant to it (and remove them), so your team and your consultant work on the same studies.
  • Validating the synthesis of a client organisation's study now records that study as completed in the client's Henkan account, so Henkan can show what it delivered each month.
  • Home page: the button at the top, in the hero and at the bottom now reads "Talk to Henkan" instead of "Join the pilot" and opens the Henkan contact form, since access is opened by Henkan for its clients. Old links to the pilot form lead there too. "Sign in" is unchanged.
  • When something goes wrong in Research (a page that fails to load or a server error), a short technical report is now sent to Henkan so the team can fix it quickly. Reports never include your emails, messages, prompts, recordings or interview content.
  • Error reports from Research now reliably reach Henkan: they are sent before the request ends instead of in the background, where they could be lost.

v1.2.0 · 19 October 2026

Organisations

  • Studies now belong to an organisation. You join yours automatically from your Henkan account: a client's team shares one organisation, and Henkan & Partners consultants share theirs.
  • Everyone in an organisation sees its studies, interviews and results. Owners of the organisation, the person who created a study and Henkan & Partners consultants placed in it can change it; other members see it in view only.
  • If you belong to several organisations, choose one from the new menu at the top of the sidebar. Studies and All interviews show that organisation only, and Research remembers your choice.
  • Existing studies moved into their creator's organisation, unchanged.
  • Settings lists your organisations and your role in each.
  • Henkan admins can add or remove someone in any organisation, for example to place a consultant in a client's organisation.
  • A new organisation starts with the demo study (instead of one demo study per person).
  • Updated the shared Henkan design kit to 1.7.0 (organisation sections in the sidebar menu).

v1.1.1 · 19 October 2026

New tab icon

  • Home page on phones: the Research monkey now fills the whole screen on its own, in a vertical clip from its solo film that plays smoothly on iPhone, and the four example cards build up at the top like a conversation as you scroll, the newest one highlighted.
  • New home page for visitors who are not signed in, in the Henkan Agent Platform style: the Research monkey comes to life as you scroll, then the features, how it works and how Research works with your consultant. The Join the pilot form is unchanged.
  • Home page: each agent card shows its own monkey pose (eyes, mouth, ears covered), and the closing note sits on two lines.
  • Home page: the AI assistants you can use the agent from are shown as equal tiles (mark and name), with an open slot for your own agents.
  • New browser tab icon: every Henkan tool now shares the same icon family, with its own symbol and colour, so you can tell your tabs apart at a glance.
  • Browser tab titles now show the page first, then the product (for example "Studies · Research"), so open tabs are easier to tell apart.

v1.1.0 · 18 October 2026

Public documentation

  • Privacy policy and terms are now final: the "provisional version" banner is removed.
  • Public documentation at /docs: step-by-step guides for preparing a study, recruiting participants, following interviews and sharing results, with annotated screenshots.
  • "Documentation" links added to the app sidebar and to the site footer.
  • Signed-in layout aligned across Henkan tools: usage, Documentation and version at the bottom of the sidebar, a standard account menu and a one-line footer.
  • Fix: opening an interview (from Transcripts, a synthesis quote, an "Ask" citation or All interviews) now shows the interview page instead of the study overview.
  • Fix: the "Choose who to interview" step is now only ticked once a recruitment method is really set up (a participant added, the public link copied or turned on, or an on-site campaign created), and shows which methods are set up.
  • Fix: adding or importing participants no longer marks them as invited, so "Send invitations" preselects everyone not yet emailed and reminders only go to people who actually received an invitation.

v1.0.1 · 18 October 2026

Private visuals

  • Security: uploaded visuals (mockups, unreleased designs) are now private and only shown, through temporary links, to the study owner and to participants during their interview; client logos stay public on interview pages.

v1.0.0 · 17 October 2026

Changelog started

  • Version number and this changelog added.
  • Code now synced to GitHub and editable outside Lovable.
  • Public landing page with a form to request a pilot.
  • Security: interview links now have usage limits, closed or draft studies can no longer be answered, and the participant cap is enforced.
  • Security: test links only work for the study owner, and finished interviews can no longer be changed.
  • Voice: the live call is stopped before the simplified mode starts, so two voices never speak at once.
  • Voice: after a reconnection the assistant picks up where it left off instead of starting over.
  • Voice: slow connections get 25 seconds to connect, and the last sentences are saved before the interview closes.
  • Interviews: a page refresh offers to resume instead of starting a duplicate interview, and the original camera choice is kept.
  • Reminders: no more double reminders, and no reminders to people who already answered.
  • Results: syntheses now read every interview in full, even on large studies.
  • On-site invitations: a visitor who ignores the invitation won't see it again on every page.
  • Access: sign-in access is now managed in Henkan Account, and new access requests no longer send an approval email.
  • Access: Research is now reserved for Henkan clients; other visitors see a page to contact the Henkan team instead of a pending request.
  • Henkan Account now sees sign-ins (approximate location, browser and device) and which Research features client teams use, to support each client; the privacy policy explains this.
  • The consultant interface is now in English: menus, study steps, recruitment, interviews, results, client reports and messages.
  • The AI coach, question checks, guide suggestions, syntheses, interview summaries, test feedback and "Ask your interviews" now answer in English; interviews still run in each participant's language (French or English).
  • Invitation emails are drafted in English by default (French still available), and reminders follow the invitation's language.
  • The demo study is in English again.
  • Privacy policy and terms of use are now in English, with the French version kept for participants who answer in French.
